Janet D. (Hartt) Hill, 87, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday at her home. Janet was born in Syracuse on October 24, 1933 daughter of the late Gordon and Anna Ellen Hartt. Janet retired from Castle Rest Nursing Home in Syracuse and enjoyed being a foster grandparent for elementary children.
Janet was predeceased by her husband Wayne Hill and sister, Shirley Wheeler. She is survived by her son, Daniel Hill, his wife Barbara Webster, granddaughter, Caroline Webster Hill and sister-in-law Joan Hill, along with several nieces and nephews.
There are no services. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Potsdam.
