Janet S. Harrington

Janet Harrington, 85, of Brewerton, passed away February 27, 2022.

Janet was born in Norwich, New York on June 4, 1936 to the late George and Sylvia Swayze.

Janet retired from Tucci Realty after many years as a Bookkeeper. An Avid SU Basketball and Football fan, Janet enjoyed traveling in her earlier years and would often go camping, snowmobiling and would visit Blue Mountain Lake. She also enjoyed collecting Rose décor and fine china over the years.

Janet was very close with her siblings, and would often share unique and funny stories about their past. Family was very important to Janet, whether it be getting together for a holiday or weekly outings to a park, she loved to be surrounded by her entire family. She especially adored her Grandchildren and Great Granddaughter, Callie.

She was preceded in death by her Son, Andrew S. Harrington; Siblings, Joyce, Ernie, Jean and Joanne.

She is survived by her Husband of 61 years, Stanley Harrington; Son, Kevin A. (Helen) Harrington; Grandson, Kyle Harrington; Granddaughter, Valerie Harrington; Great Granddaughter, Callie Brockett; Siblings, Judy, Roger and Jill and Daughter-In-Law, Sandy Harrington.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12PM-3PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM.

Burial to take place in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Brewerton.
