Janet E. Trumble (Pontius), 75, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday. She was a cook for many years and was famous for her chicken and Biscuit at Twin Trees Restaurant and her cookies for friends and family. She loved to crochet.
Janet is survived by her former husband, Franklin Trumble. Two daughters, Wendy (Mike) Fratto, Debra Herrick both of Syracuse; three sons, Franklin (Barb) Trumble Jr. of C. Square, Jeffrey Trumble of Pennellville and Matthew Trumble of Syracuse; her brother, Donald E. Pontius of Jeffersonville, KY; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and raised three step children, Tammy, Timothy and Amy Delapp.
Services will be Monday 10 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in Collamer Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers Contributions can be made to the family.
