Jane E. Wright

Jane E. Wright, 91, of Oswego passed away on January 15. She was born on April 20, 1927 to the late
William R. and Genevieve (McCormack) Wright.

Jane graduated from Oswego State University and earned a Masters Degree in Library Science from Syracuse University. She worked for many years as a Librarian at Penfield Library at Oswego State University.

Jane loved to travel. She visited most of Europe and Asia with a group of close friends. She was an excellent musician and a gifted singer. She was active in many choral groups in the Oswego area and was the organist at St. Paul's in Oswego, following her mother in that role. She also played frequently at other parishes in the area.

She was pre-deceased by brothers, Robert and John. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, January 18, 10:00am at Good Shepherd at St. Paul's Church, Oswego. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Trinity Catholic School, Oswego, NY.
