Jane Amanda Webster, 100, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday.
She was the daughter of Hazel and Floyd Webster.
She graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy and Syracuse University. She lived at her sorority house, Alpha Gamma Delta. She was proud of her heritage in being the great great granddaughter of the first white settler in Onondaga County, Ephriam Webster. She had a great career working in radio and educational TV; writing, producing and directing. She was a member of the Metropolitan Opera. She retired to Swarthmore, PA and was president of the Lapidary Society.
She is survived by her sister Elizabeth Burns, brothers; Marshall and John, along with several nieces and nephews.
