Jane Melchior, 88, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Jane was the daughter of the late John and Estella Green.
Jane was predeceased by her husband Jacob, Sr. in 1980 and her daughter, Linda Ellis. She cherished her grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her children, Jane (Richard) Byrne, Donna Hazelett, Jacob (Jean) Melchior, Joseph (Sue) Melchior, Charlie (April) Melchior, Millicent (Harry) Dykes, Debbie (Dave) Longhouse, James (Teia) Melchior, son-in-law, Dan Ellis, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Friday 10am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
