Jane Hooker Freebern

Jane Hooker Freebern, 57 of Pennellville died unexpectedly on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Jane made the everlasting gift of life by donating vital organs to several recipients. She owned and operated with her husband, Ken, Dun Roamin Farms. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and working around the farm. She was quite active in several organizations including Harmony Acres. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Hooker in 1977 and a brother, John Ball in 1976.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Ken Freebern; son, Kenneth (Dr. Jocelyn Hawkins) Freebern of Owings Mills, MD; daughter, Heather (Lloyd) Stoutenger of Central Square; sister, Donna Ball Burke of N. Syracuse; two granddaughters, Aleah Jane and Brooke Orianna.
A celebration of Janes life will be held, Friday 5:00 pm at the American Legion Post 914, 915 Fulton Ave., Central Square.
