Jane J. Campione

Jane J. (Cook) Campione, 90, of Syracuse, passed away October 22, 2024 at Loretto. Jane was born on July 27, 1934 to George and Louise Cook and resided her whole life in Syracuse. Jane was a devote Catholic and communicant of St. Margaret's Church. She was previously employed with G.E., later retiring with Lockheed Martin in 1994. Even upon her retirement, Jane pursued a full time job with Colonial Laundromat until she officially ended her employment at the age of 80. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent "Iggy" Campione in 1987; her sisters, Marjorie Harris, Irene Mancini and Frances Bukowski; and brother, George Cook. 

Jane is survived by her daughter, Louise (Chuck) Westfall; grandson, Charles Westfall II; several nieces and nephews; and special friends that were more like extended family, JoAnne Hanna and Gina Grochan. 

Calling hours will be held Tuesday October 29, 2024 from 4-6PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in North Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning at 10AM at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Entombment will be made in Assumption Cemetery.
