Jan M. Fay

Jan M. Fay, 60, of North Syracuse passed away surrounded by family on February 23, 2023. She was born on October 4, 1962 in Syracuse, NY.
Jan was a person who loved to help others and was very independent. She loved gardening, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles with her sisters. She was an animal lover, especially her dog, Demon, and her cat, Smitty. Jan was a great mother who went above and beyond to make sure her children had everything they needed, and was very supportive. Most of all she loved her grandkids, they were her world.

She was predeceased by her Husband, Charles Fay Sr.; Parents, Carl and Edna Hunter; Brother, Peter Hunter; and Sister, Brenda Meier.
Jan is survived by her Sons, Matthew (Stacey) Fay, Derrick (Amanda) Fay; Grandchildren, Lisa, Shania, Hayley, Dakota, Alyssa, Chase, Derrick Jr. and Raelynn; and Siblings, Leo (Laurie) Hunter, Ronald Hunter, and Lila (James) Casey.

Calling hours for Jan will be held on February 28, 2023 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at New Comer in North Syracuse with a service to follow. A graveside service will follow shortly after at North Syracuse Cemetery.
