James E. Wright, Iii

James E. Wright, III, 60, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, at home surrounded by family. Jim was a native of Syracuse, born on December 29, 1961 son of James (Jr) and Patricia Wright. He was a graduate of Liverpool High School and attended Morrisville College. Early on Jim helped run the family business (Rite Tool) along side his father. He recently retired from Verizon following over twenty years of service which included aiding NYC following 9/11. Jim was very talented in many ways from classic car restorations to home renovation. He was able to bring any vision to life with beautiful detail.
Jim adored his daughter, always finding time to teach her about life. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed four-wheeling, hiking, camping, and especially bonfires with family and friends. He also liked sharing stories of his life.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, James E. Wright Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Wright; daughter, Jillian Wright; mother, Patricia Wright; sisters, Kelly Ventre (Robert & Noah), and Chrissy Wright (Dave, Caitlyn, Gianna & Joey), along with many more nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a trust fund for his daughter, Jillian. Please send checks made out to Jillian Wright to 1154 Smith Ridge Road, Bridgeport NY 13030.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February, 20th from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse, with services at 4pm.
