James Szkotak
September 30, 1984 — April 1, 2024
James Szkotak, 39, passed away Easter Sunday at his home in the town of Geddes after a long and hard battle with substance abuse and mental illness.
James is survived by both parents, Larry and Elizabeth Szkotak; his two brothers, Robert and Nicholas Szkotak; and his sister Lori Szkotak.
James was a loving brother and friend to many. He had several interests and talents which included skateboarding, playing the guitar and working on anything mechanical.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals on Tuesday, April 9th from 4pm-7pm for family and friends. Thank you kindly to those who gave him support and love over the years.
