James M. "Jimmy" Shoemaker, Jr. , 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, May 2nd from Coronavirus at Central Park Nursing Home. Jimmy was a 1954 graduate of F-M High School. He served in the Air Force from 1955-1959. Jimmy later retired from Western Electric with over 35 years of service. He went on to become grounds keeper for Cato-Meridian Central School. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, hunter and an excellent bowler.
He was predeceased by his wife, June; parents, Hope Louzek and James Shoemaker, Sr.; step-father, George Louzek; brother, Jerry Shoemaker, Sr.; step-brother, Frank Louzek and brother-in-law, Dick Lavner.
Jimmy is survived by sisters, Joan Lavner and Kathy Louzek; step-brothers, John, David and Robert Louzek and several nieces and nephews.
A private burial will take place in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville, NY.
