James M. "Jimmy" Richards , 66, passed away Thursday with his loving family by his side.

He was born on December 3, 1948 in Elizabeth, NJ, son of the late Bill and Helen Dick.

Jim enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.

His unique taste in music and his passionate love of food will always be fondly remembered.

James is survived by his wife, Marcia (Sardino) Richards; daughter, Helene (Jason) McMurray; son, James F. Richards; daughter, Jennifer Crittela; son, Matthew Crittela; 4 grandchildren, Aidan McMurray, Cameron McMurray, Alexa Crittela, Zoe Brown, and Sister, Kathy Zalinkanskas. Jim was predeceased by his first wife, Carmela "Camille" Richards.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, Syracuse, on Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with services immediately to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
