James D. Ranger, 35, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday. A life resident of the Syracuse area, James worked at Dollar General in North Syracuse as an Assistant Manager.
He is survived by his parents; Frederick Sr. and Linda (Taylor) Ranger, a son; Michael Ranger, a brother; Frederick Ranger Jr., three sisters; Melissa Jo Ranger, Margaret (Daniel) Wagner and Bettina (Andrew) Banner, his companion; Phillip Soulia, 2 great aunts; Christine Harris of North Carolina, and Margaret Duet of Louisiana and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 9 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street.
