James R. "Jim" Cordon, (TSGT. USAF Ret.) 79, of Liverpool, formerly of E. Syracuse, passed away on Sunday after a prolonged illness. He was born on October 8, 1933 in Syracuse. Jim was a member of the American Legion Post #359, he was an avid Syracuse University Fan, St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed his TV.
Surviving are his wife Rosemary, of 56 years, his daughter; Karen (Thomas) Kane, sons, Russell (Keryn), Andrew, Charles (Marci) & Thomas, daughter, Catherine (AJ) Fiorini, 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Jessica, Emily, Rachel & Nicolas, along with great grandchild, Kelsey, as well as in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 pm to 7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A memorial mass will be held on Friday 10 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Beechwood St., Liverpool.
