James Perfetto, 75, of Brewerton passed away Wednesday at his home. Born in Canicatti, Sicilia, Italy he worked at Allied Chemical for 25 years, retiring in 1985. He is predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Carmela (DuPuma) Perfetto and two brothers; Frank and Joseph Perfetto.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Ethel (Clark) Perfetto, his children; Carmela (Anthony) Torzon, Marie (William Thomas) Pirro, Anthony (Joanne) Perfetto, Jeanne Smith, James Perfetto, William (Joanne) Perfetto, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and his four sisters; Carmella Valenti, Carrie Parla, Angelina Signorino and Marie Mongitore.
Services will be on Monday at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
