James P. Palerino

October 18, 1970 — April 19, 2018

James P. Palerino, 47 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He proudly served in the US Army during the 1st Gulf War. James was an avid writer, enjoyed listening to music and was an animal lover.

He is survived by his loving mother, Mary M. Palerino; siblings, Eileen Palerino and Michael Palerino; niece, Amanda Gusman and several cousins.

Predeceased by his father, Thomas Palerino.

Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations and Funerals on Tuesday, April 24th from 4-7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale on Wednesday, April 25th at 10am. Burial will follow at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
