James F. Padden Sr.
June 27, 1934 — August 2, 2022
James F. Padden Sr. 88 of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. Born in Andover, NY on June 27th, 1934 to the late Edward and Sarah Padden.
He proudly served his country in the USMC during the Korean War. He loved camping and spending time with his family. James was a die hard Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Orange fan.
He is survived by his children, Cindy (Paul) Hesselbarth, Lisa Santorelli and James Padden; grandchildren, Jamie (Emmanuel) Angela, Samuel Santorelli IV, Kayla Padden, Nicole and Paige Hesselbarth and Hayden Padden; sister, Ruth Culbert and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his wife, Irene Padden and daughter, Melanie Padden; brothers, Edward, John, Patrick, Gerald and Louis; sisters, Mary, Teresa, Sara Rita and Patricia.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse on Monday, August 8th, 2022 from 10am-12pm. Funeral service will follow at 12pm. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clear Path 4 Vets, 1223 Salt Springs Road, Chittenango, NY 13037.
