James Guy Orme, 85 years old, most recently of Southaven, Mississippi passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019.
James was born November 10, 1933 in Lewistown, PA to the late Albert & Florence Orme.
He enlisted in the Army in 1955. In 1959 he enlisted in the US Air Force. He served a total of 24 years between the Army and Air Force. James was also awarded the Purple Heart Medal during his service.
He lived in Clay, NY for many years before moving to Hudson, Florida in 1994. He lived in Hudson, Florida from 1994-2018. He relocated to Southaven, MS in 2018.
James was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Valeda Orme (2015), his sons Mark Mahnken (1993) & Paul Mahnken (2011), granddaughter Jamie Seamans (2001) and his parents and siblings as well.
James is survived by his daughters June Seamans, Janet Hope, Patricia (Mark) Sachuk, Margaret (Jon) Fidler; sons Robert (Brenda) Mahnken, Alan (Peggy) Mahnken; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, as well as daughters-in-law Pamela (Brian)Salsbury & Judy Mahnken-German.
Graveside interment service will be held on June 29, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY as per James' wishes.
