James P. Newman, 75, of Syracuse passed away at home. James retired from the United States Postal Service with 42 years of service.
James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Newman; one daughter, Karen (Jeff) Trimm of Cicero; four sons, Michael of Syracuse, James (Nancy) of California, Robert (Cheryl) of Syracuse, Christopher of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Brittany, Bethany, Brinley, Erica, Ashley and Izaac.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY. Messages of sympathy may be left at newcomerfamily.com.
