James K. Morrison, 85, of North Syracuse, passed away on Saturday.
Jim was born in Worcester, MA to the late Robert and Eva Morrison. He served 4 years in the US Navy. He had a passion for music. Jim was a self-taught pianist and enjoyed playing jazz and rag time. He was a life-long fan of baseball. He enjoyed following his hometown teams of the Boston Red Sox and later the NY Mets. Jim also enjoyed playing golf. He retired from the SUNY Upstate Photography Department.
Jim was predeceased by his brother, Robert F. Morrison.
He is survived by his wife, Janet A. Morrison and his son, Mark Morrison.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 26th at 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with burial to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
