James W. Mcpherson

James W. "Jim" McPherson, 76, of Pennellville, passed away on Friday at home surrounded by family. James was born in Amsterdam, New York on December 8, 1944 son of the late John and Sophia McPherson. Jim served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the CNY Rod & Gun Club. James retired from P & C Foods in Syracuse.

He is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Rebecca) McPherson, Richard (Anne Marie) McPherson, 6 grandchildren, Joseph, John (Marisa), Breana (Jamie), Scott, Danielle, Alexandria, 4 great grandchildren, William, Wyatt, Easton, Beckett, sister, Catherine (Jerry) Rohling, brother, Gary (Lucy) McPherson, and sister-in-law, Dorothy McPherson. He was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline and brother John McPherson.

Visitation will be held on Monday at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main, North Syracuse from 4-6pm. Services will be held on Tuesday 10am at Woodlawn Cemetery.
