James D. Lewis

James D. Lewis, 78 of Liverpool, NY, passed away on June 22nd, 2022. Born in Oswego, NY on October 9th, 1943 to the late Richard H. and Frances Lewis.

He loved camping, NASCAR, reading books and listening to music. He was the owner of The Floor Store in Oswego for 18 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Michele; children, Lynn Lewis, James D. (Cathy) Lewis Jr. and Jeffrey D. (Heather) Lewis; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Linda (John) Alcaras, Keitha (John) Brutcher, Susan (Windell) Whigham and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by siblings, Beverly Pierce, John E. Lewis Sr., Richard H. Lewis Jr., Patricia Lewis and Carol Hayes.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 from 4-7pm. Funeral service will follow at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boy's Town founded by Father Edward J. Flanagan.
