James L. "Jim" LeVea, 64, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Sunday after a short illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital, with his family at his side. Born in Fulton, NY, he was predeceased by his parents, Irene and James, and a sister, Jean Grandy. Jim worked as an executive accountant for many years with PPC and Syracuse China. He retired from Patterson Dental in 2006.

Jim's first priority was always his family and friends. He never ceased to make people laugh and had a smile that was contagious. His second passion was restoring and driving street rods. Jim was an active member of the NSRA and the Syracuse All Ford Club.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathleen LeVea; two daughters, Nicole LeVea and Robin (Philip) Squadrito; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Squadrito, all of Liverpool; a brother in law, David Grandy; and two nieces, Pamela (John) Howard and Melissa Grandy, all of Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral Services will be Friday 10AM at St. John's Church (Soule Rd.). Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Peace Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
