James E. Kingsley, 78, of Syracuse, passed away after a short illness at St. Joseph's Hospital on September 29, 2022.
He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was predeceased by his parents John H. Kingsley and Jean A. Kingsley, and his only sibling, brother John F. Kingsley.
He leaves behind 2 daughters, Kristen M. Bertrand, and Kathlene E. Kingsley, along with his ex-wife Antonia M. Kingsley (Paul Policastro),
his only grandchild, Christopher J. Bertrand and 3 great grandchildren, Logan, Chance and Gianna. Also left behind are a nephew, Jon Kingsley and a niece, Malia Kingsley and his sister-in-law Cherry Ann Kingsley of the Philippines, along with several loving cousins, Zenetta Baker, Zenetta Jane
Vigars and family.
Jim was a Navy Veteran. He worked at Crouse Hinds Co. and Syracuse University Steam Plant as a Stationery engineer.
Jim enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, shooting pool, riding his bicycle at Onondaga Lake Parkway and warm sunny weather.
There are no services for Jim per his wishes. He will be cremated and sent to the Philippines to be placed with his mother Jean and brother Jack in a very beautiful family mausoleum that was built by Jack for the deceased family members.
This will be his final resting place. A quiet prayer for eternal peace would be appreciated.
