Jimmy King, 60, of Liverpool, passed away Saturday surrounded by loving family members. Born in Syracuse and growing up on Hunter Ave. he was a graduate of Corcoran High School where he excelled on the basketball court and was an avid sports fan his entire life. He retired from Anheuser-Bush.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Nancy King (Gillan); son, Jeff (Kelly) King and he took great pride in his grandsons Ty Michael and Carter Manning King.
Services will be Thursday 10 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Ty and Carter King for their educational fund (their grandfather's wishes); C/O Tina Musil at Beacon Federal CU, 6311 Court St, Rd. East Syracuse, NY 13057.
