James Hogan Jr.

James L. "Jimmy" Hogan Jr., 24, of Gillette Rd, Cicero went home to be with Jesus on Thursday after a 3 year battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Born in Syracuse, Jimmy was a 1998 graduate of P.V. Moore High School and went on to excel in his job with Goodyear in North Syracuse where he was an excellent Service Technician. Jimmy had a zest for life and loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and most of all 4-wheeling.
He is survived by his father James Sr. and his wife Linda of Cicero, his mother Gisela Hogan and her companion Dan Hamer of Chittenango, a brother William Hogan of Chittenango, a sister Jamie Hogan and her fiancé Christopher Burian of Minoa, his maternal Grandmother, Frieda Sander of Germany and several Aunts and Uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
