James C. Hawley

James C. Hawley, 63, of Syracuse, passed away on November 10, 2017. James was born in Syracuse, NY on December 3, 1953 to the late Ernest and Marcia Hawley.

James retired from Greyhound after over 20 years of service. He was an avid Syracuse University and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed fishing, boating, photography and watching cross-country events. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anne Hawley; three sons, Thomas (Ryan), Robert (Nicole) and Jonathan (Corrine) Hawley; four Grandchildren, Clara, Lily, Aria and Landon Hawley; two brothers, Richard and Gerald Hawley; as well as a few nieces.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow services in Valley Cemetery.
