James E. Harris

James Harris, 68, of Constantia, passed away September 19, 2022.

James was born in Mattydale, New York on November 24, 1953. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Berlin, Germany for most of his military career. Most recently he was employed as a truck driver with Gypsum Express. He was an avid SU and NY Giants fan. He enjoyed the outdoors including camping and four wheeling. He was an animal lover and most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Svoboda Harris; siblings, Tony Harris and Patricia Menotti.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lee Ann (Maucher) Harris; two sons, James Harris, Jr., Andy Harris; one niece; one nephew; and several grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday September 27, from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY.

A graveside service will take place Thursday, October 13th, 11AM, at Roosevelt Cemetery, Pennellville, NY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Abraham House, 417 N. Washington St. Rome, NY 13440.
