James J. Gabruk

James J. Gabruk, 73 of West Monroe, NY passed away on October 6th, 2021. Born in Syracuse, NY on January 30th, 1948 to the late Frank and Marge Gabruk. He lived in West Monroe for 38 years. He was married to Brenda Davis Gabruk for 41 years. Jim was a lifetime member of the West Monroe Fire Department for 27 years and volunteered at the Carrier Fire Brigade for 4 years. He also worked at Carrier for 37 years.

James is survived by his wife, Brenda; brothers, Mark and Bill; sister, Sharon and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY on Saturday, October 16th from 11am-1pm. Service will follow at 1pm. There will be a reception after the funeral service at West Monroe Fire Department.
