James Frederick Easterly, 93, of Brewerton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 2, 2019.
James was born in Syracuse, on December 3, 1925 to the late Frederick James Easterly and Rosalie Mautz.
He was a WWII Navy veteran.
James owned and operated Jim's Fish Fry in Syracuse which opened in 1944.
In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
James was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary Petit.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Barbara Easterly; two daughters, Kathy (Jim) Iannuzzo, Cindy (Don) Wells; two sons, Fred Easterly, William (Pam) Easterly; a sister Mary Ellen Whidden; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
