James E. Pittman, 72, of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday. Born in Suffolk, VA, he was a truck driver with Feher Rubbish Removal.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Virginia Pittman; 3 daughters, Rev. Debra Gholston, Sandra Pittman, Pamela Roundtree; a son, Eugene Bynum; a brother, Jessie Lee Pittman, a sister, Viola Boone; an aunt, Elizabeth Pittman; a sister-in-law, Edith Jones; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM at New Comer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
