James E. Haley, 77, of Camillus, passed away at home surrounded by his wife and family on Tuesday, April 7th. James retired from Allied Chemical and worked for Bano Landscaping at Casual Estates. He was a former Scout Master of Troop 83. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Violet; 4 children; Karen (Warren) Marlatt, James (Jackie) Haley, John (Katie) Haley and Linda (Tony) Haley-Ross; 5 grandchildren, Patrick, Shannon, Sarah, Haley and Ryan; a sister, Catherine Haley and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday 1-4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Mass will be Monday 10AM at Holy Family Church, Fairmount with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS or to the Kyle R. Schneider Foundation, PO Box 8, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
