James T. Caples, 73, of Cicero, passed away Friday at Francis House. Born in Syracuse, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. James retired from Allied Chemicals with 30 years of service. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Airforce.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley; three brothers, Arthur, David and Eugene Caples; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, 11AM in the Belle Isle Cemetery, Warners. Friends are invited to visit with his family on Sunday from 2-5 PM, at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
