James Becker, 78, of North Syracuse, passed away July 21, 2018.
James was born in Syracuse, New York on May 15, 1940 to the late Jacob and Gladys Becker.
James was a Navy veteran and retired from General Motors. He was a lifelong dog lover, Buffalo Bills fan, outdoor enthusiast, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
He is survived by his four Sons, James Becker, Jr., Ward (Kelly) Roesser, Walter (Tracy) Roesser, and Wayne (Patti) Roesser; a daughter, Mary (Charles) Arney; grandchildren, Philip, Jed, Stephen, Carson, Elizabeth, Ethan, and Jane.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, July 26 from 4pm to 6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will take place at Onondaga Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VFW Post 7290.
