James Baxter passed away on October 28, 2009 at Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse, NY. Husband of the late Lillian DeLee Baxter. Survived by his children, Diane Baxter of Reevesville, SC, Rose Ann Glover of Brooklyn NY, Andrea "Drena" Baxter of Syracuse, NY, Charene Baxter of Silver Spring, MD, James "Tony" Baxter of Liverpool, NY five grandchildren and four great-grand children; brothers Johnny Baxter of Syracuse, NY, David Baxter of St. George, SC and Jerry Baxter of Syracuse, NY, sisters Ella Ruth Simmons of Harleyville, SC, Ollie Frazier of Syracuse, NY, and Doris Webber of Syracuse, NY.
Visitation November 2, 2009 5:30pm-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Funeral Services will be held at the Full Gospel Church of the Lord Jesus,
134 W. Roswell Avenue Nedrow, NY on November 3, 2009 at 1:00pm.
Interment follows at Onondaga Veteran's Cemetery.
