"Tony " Baxter, 46, of Nedrow, NY, Passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday. Tony was the son of James and Lillian DeLee Baxter whom he has joined in heaven. Tony attended and graduated from Onondaga Central Schools. Tony was employed with CNYRTA Centro and served this company for 22 years. He will be leaving many people at his place of employment who truly loved him.
His is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Christa M. Baxter; a daughter, Sonya M. Baxter; a son James N. Baxter; granddaughter, Aniah C. Baxter; four sisters, Diana M. Baxter from SC, Roseanne Glover from Brooklyn, NY, Andrea Baxter from Syracuse, NY and Charene Baxter; grandmother, Cora DeLee; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be Saturday, 9AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
