Jacquelyn Ann Kroll, 74, passed away October 20, 2023.
Jackie, affectionately known as Ahma, was born in Syracuse, NY on December 26, 1948, to Edward and Harriette Mantor.
Jackie proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as an assistant to an admiral under NATO.
Jackie worked as a house cleaner, childcare worker, bookkeeper and homemaker.
Her biggest joy in life was her family. She was always capturing special moments on her camera, cheering her granddaughters on at sporting events and concerts, and hosting holiday parties at her house. In her free time, she enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino and eating a hot dog at Heid's.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her husband, Robert Kroll, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, JanMarie Fava; son, Robert Kroll, Jr.; three granddaughters, Taylor (Matt) Putnam, Sara Harris and Lauryn Fava.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 4:00 - 7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Syracuse, NY.
Funeral services will be held at New Comer on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10am with burial at White Chapel Memory Gardens to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Women's Health Center at the VA Hospital in Syracuse.
