Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Stillitano

April 17, 1983 — June 19, 2024

Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie Stillitano, 41

On April 17, 1983 the sun rose (even during a major snow storm) when Jacqueline Marie Stillitano was born. The sunset on June 19, 2024 when Jacqueline passed from terminal melanoma. Not a long cancer journey but she took the steps she wanted to take before her passing.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Lorraine (Lorry) and Thomas Stillitano of East Syracuse, NY; brother, David Stillitano (Nathan Hanley) of Naples, Florida; sisters, Susan Loveless (Wayne) of New Port Richey, Florida and Cheryl Stillitano of Colorado; nephews, Zachary Loveless (Sarah) of Cicero, NY, Corey Loveless of Petersburg, Florida, Peter Mack of Colorado; and niece, Emily Mack of Colorado, and great-niece Emma Loveless of Cicero, NY. She will be remembered and missed by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A very special cousin, Lorielle Corkan who was by Jackie's side from day one of her cancer journey, her special friends Ben and Jessica Meade and her god-daughter, lla Meade. Jackie adored her great nieces Alexis Smith and Livia Beckley and her great nephew Anthony Angona, Jr. They were her pride and joy!

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Florence Stoffel; paternal grandparents, Carmen and Grace Stillitano; her aunt, Janet Ours and uncle/godfather, Jimmy Stoffel.

Jackie was a beautiful soul that was filled with love for everyone she cared for. An independent young lady (stubborn to the point right up until the end), a loyal friend and employee. Her creativity was shared with many and appreciated by all. Jackie graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School in 2001, attended Onondaga Community College, Tompkins Cortland Community College and earned her Certificate of Medical Assisting in 2010.

The family would like to thank Dr. Vincent Frechette for the utmost professionalism and care that he gave Jackie for many years. She adored him and trusted him with her care. Also the Upstate University Hospital floor 10E and G. The staff there are A #1 in our book. They treated Jackie as a "princess" as we all know she was and if she was one of their family. We cannot say enough about them.

In lieu of flowers, Jackie requested donations be sent to the Lukie Frechette SOUL Endowment via the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital or The Baldwin Fund.

Calling hours will be held June 26, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:30PM with a service at 5:30PM at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals on Route 11, North Syracuse, NY.
