Jacqueline J. Paro-Yemma

January 9, 1964 — December 24, 2022

Jacqueline J. "Jackie" Paro-Yemma, 58, of Syracuse, NY, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2022. She was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Alicia (Kelly) and Luman Paro. Jackie worked for many years at King David's Restaurant and then went onto work at Syracuse University in food service for the past 14 years. Jackie was an active member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Syracuse. She was a talented interior decorator, cook and gardener/landscaper. Jackie loved working outdoors and enjoyed increasing curb appeal with her landscaping ability. Jackie was a great mother to her son, Justin; she was always there for him.

She was predeceased by her grandmother, Mary Lamb, who she was very close with and her uncle, Clark.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Charles J. "Chuck" Yemma, whom she's been with for 43 years; son, Justin C. Yemma; siblings, Louie Paro, Debbie (Dave) Malazzo, Kathy (Bruce) Dings, Bridgette (Tim) Mahar; good friend, Martha Hanna and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 15th at 11:15am at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 1700 Butternut Street, Syracuse, NY 13208.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gethsemane United Methodist Church, 1700 Butternut Street, Syracuse, NY 13208.
