Jacquelin M. Sobey, 85, of Jamesville, passed away February 6, 2023. Jacquelin was born in Syracuse, NY on November 24, 1937 to Norman and Irene Brownell.
Jacquelin retired from Syracuse City School District. In her free time, she enjoyed Bingo, crossword puzzles, musicals and watching TV Land.
She was preceded in death by her Husband of 62 years, Albert Sobey; Son, Stanley Sobey; Father, Norman Brownell; and Mother, Irene Brownell; Sisters, Frances and Sally.
She is survived by Three Sons, James (Michelle) Sobey, Albert (Darlene) Sobey, John (Elaine) Sobey; Five Daughters, Claire (David) Swank, Diane P. (Glenn) Sutcliffe, Sally Davies, Jackie (Phil) Ciaramella, Cindy (Thane) Moss; Grandchildren, Dylan, Vinnie and Nessy Sobey and many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother, Steven; Sister, Leslie; and many Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 1 pm - 4 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff at the Bernardine.
