Jake Corbett, 23, of East Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2020.
Jake was born in Syracuse on September 20, 1996 to Daniel and Michelle Corbett. He graduated from East Syracuse Minoa with the class of 2014. In his free time, Jake enjoyed riding his BMX bike, skateboarding, hiking, and playing hockey as well as watching his younger brother play. Most of all, Jake loved spending time with his son.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Michelle; his brother, Alex Corbett; his son, Leo Corbett; his maternal grandparents, Barb and Steve VanAlstine; his paternal grandparents, Mary and Daniel Corbett; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be especially missed by his friends.
Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, funeral services for Jake will be in the future with a date to be announced.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the ESM school district for all of their unwavering support through this difficult time.
