Jackie Fitzgerald

June 23, 1954 — July 19, 2016

Jack R. Fitzgerald, 62, of Clay, NY, passed away on Tuesday comfortably after a long illness.

He was born in Detroit, MI son of Gerald and Geraldine Fitzgerald. He was a CPR instructor, he worked with the mentally disabled and was a GM at Reymore Chevrolet. He will be remembered for his passion for fishing, golf, playing his guitar/drums and his love for the NY Yankees. He was a wonderful father, son and grandfather. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, laughter, kindness and smile. Most of all he will be remembered for his "Integrity".

Jackie is survived by his wife of 30 years Carol, children, Holly Fitzgerald, Christopher Fitzgerald, Krystal Fitzgerald, grandchildren, Adriana, Conner, Harley, Ava, brothers, Robin (Patty) Fitzgerald, Kevin Fitzgerald and he was predeceased by his brother, Dannie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016 from 12-3pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, N. Syracuse, with a sharing of memories to follow.
