Jack Valenti, 72, of Brewerton, passed away on Saturday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 27, 1946 in Italy son of James and Caramella Valenti.
Jack was employed at Carrier Corp. and he was a donut slinger on the side. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whether it was sitting on the porch, going for ice cream or scrapping metal, it was always and adventure with grandpa. Jack welcomed people with open arms & his door was always opened. Coffee was always hot and there was always plenty of food to share. Jack was the most selfless man, he would give the shirt off his back and would never ask for it to be returned. He was the smartest working man and he protected his family always.
Jack is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters, Kelly (Chuck) Christian, Tammy (Kirk) Nielsen; grandchildren, Sarah (Tim), Brandon, Emily (Jared), Alex; great grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Mia, Waylon Jack; sisters, Josephine (Ralph) Cammarata, Carmella (Ted) Spadotto, Antoninette Schafer; along with nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother & casino partner, Vincent Valenti, sister-in-law & dancing queen, Maryann Valenti, along with his buddy & co-founder of the DD Coffee Club, Joey Stott. Jack will be missed by all the lives he touched.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main, N. Syracuse, with services at 7pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
