Jack O. Cookinham

Jack O. Cookinham, 86 of Brewerton, passed away peacefully at St. Joe's Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on August 25, 1930 to the late Raymond Cookinham and Mary Onley. Before he retired, he worked in the kitchen and bath remolding business for Country Gentleman in North Syracuse. Jack was definitely a family man. He enjoyed taking day trips, one day excursions in Old Forge and Alexandria Bay. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Josephine "Dolly". They were 1 month shy of 52 years together; daughter Mary (BC); Grandson, Gavin; sister, Doris; brother, Eddie(Joanne) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his son, Jimmy.. Calling hours will take place at New Comer Funeral Home on Sunday June 25 from 2-5. Funeral and Prayer Services will follow at 5PM. Burial will be on Monday June 26 11AM at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joe's Hospital vascular, kidney, heart department and also Liberty Dialysis of Liverpool.
