Jack Burton, 86, of Syracuse, passed away after a long battle with illness on April 15, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at home. Jack was born in Woodhull, New York on October 26, 1931 to the late Henry and Marjorie Burton.
A U.S. Marine veteran, Jack retired from Crucible Steel. He owned a roofing and siding business for many years. He enjoyed cooking but most of all, loved spending time with his entire family and spoiling all of his children and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his son, Benjamin Burton
He is survived by his two Daughters, Bonnie (David) Delaney, Rose Saya; Son, Jack H. (Lorna) Burton; sister, Jennie Slater; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Thursday from 1-4 PM with a service to follow at 4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
