Israel Medina, 71, of Syracuse, born in Puerto Rico, passed away on Saturday surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Gloria and Herminio Medina.
He is survived by three sisters, Annamia Medina, Sonia Otero and Evelyn (Calvin) Medina-Voutsinas; one brother, William Medina and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private for the family.
"In the terrifying moments of life nothing can bring comfort to the hurting heart like the reality of God's presence and care. The psalmist David wrote, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me" Psalm 23:4
