Irma Beck Handov, 82, of Brewerton, formerly of Syracuse and Long Boat Key, Florida passed away on Saturday. Irma was born in Germany and migrated to Syracuse as a child. She was a graduate of North High School and worked as an administrative assistant at First Federal Bank and Handov Fur Co.until her retirement. She was a member of Arion Singing Society and Torpy's Pond Outdoor Club. She is predeceased by her husband John U. Handov.
She is survived by her son Kirk Handov, three grandchildren; Keith of Marcellus, Chad of Syracuse and John of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
There will be no services or calling hours.
