Irene M. Lawton, 87, of Syracuse passed away on November 8, 2022. She was born in Watertown, NY on May 12, 1935.
Irene was a loving, caring person who was devoted to her family. She gave to everyone before herself. She loved her daughters, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and her beloved dog, Barkley. She loved watching her Hallmark Movies.
She was predeceased by her Husband of 67 years, Kenneth F. Lawton; her Parents, Howard and Ruby LaClair; Sons, Michael Lawton and Steven Lawton.
Irene is survived by her Daughters, Kimberly (Conal) Lawton, and Julie (Timothy) Taylor; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Brothers, James LaClair, Allan LaClair; and Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Calling hours for Irene will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 4pm – 6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, with a service to follow at 6pm.
