Irene G. Martin, 90, formerly of Utica, passed away on Sunday with family by her side.
She was born in Herkimer on March 9, 1926 daughter of the late John and Doris Kimm. She graduated from Utica State Hospital School of Nursing and retired from the hospital after many years of service.
She was predeceased by her husband Howard N. Martin, 2 sons David A., Dennis L. Martin, 2 brothers, Wesley Kimm, PA, and Edwin Kimm, OH.
Surviving are her son Richard L. (Francine) Martin of Syracuse, daughter, Barbara A. Martin of New Hartford, daughter-in-law, Debby Martin of TN, 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Kristin, David James & Daniel, 4 great grandchildren, along with several, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private on Saturday at Cedarville Cemetery.
